Twitter allows iOS users to share their tweets as Instagram stories

Twitter has announced that the Twitter app (version only for iOS users only) has been updated and a new and attractive feature has been added to it. Thanks to this new feature, Twitter allows all iOS users to easily and seamlessly share their tweets as their Instagram story.

This is a new and useful feature that works using the iOS OS subscription page. To take advantage of this new feature, just tap the share icon below each tweet and select “Instagram Stories” from the list of apps. Once logged in to Instagram, you can change, edit the tweet, and add and decorate text, tags, music, and annotations by selecting the various options available on Instagram.

Of course, a convenient option for Twitter users before is to take photos of the tweets on the page and upload them manually to the Instagram story. But the new interface makes the process much easier and the results better. However, it seems to work better with text and image-based tweets now with this new feature.

Some users tried this feature for a tweet with an embedded video and found that Instagram included it as a still image.

While sharing tweets on Instagram has become easier now, sharing Instagram content on Twitter is still just as difficult. Posting an Instagram link on Twitter is still shown only as a simple URL without a preview box. This feature was removed from Twitter in 2012 and there is no sign of a return to it at this time.

The official integration of Twitter with Instagram Story follows the same functionality that was added to SnapChat last year. Like SnapChat integration, Twitter currently only offers new sharing capabilities to iOS users, with no mention of when this feature will be available for the Android operating system.
