TrendForce: None of the iPhone 13 models will have 1TB of memory

Trend Force Research Institute has released its latest forecast for Apple’s iPhone 13 series strategy. According to the institute, the iPhone 13 series may be referred to as the iPhone 12s series and its focus will be more on improving the features of the iPhone 12 series.

Despite the lack of inventory, which has pushed up prices, according to TrendForce analysts, Apple will try to maintain the base price of its current generation iPhone, which is in the range of $ 700, in the next series of its iPhone.

Apple will also upgrade some of its next-generation iPhone features, including the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max, which will feature 120Hz AMOLED panels with a smaller notch on top. will have.

All main cameras will use the new sensor shift sensor instead of the usual OIS shaker. Ultra-wide cameras will also feature more advanced 6P autofocus lenses. Contrary to initial reports, Trend Force believes that not all iPhone 13 models will be equipped with a LiDAR sensor, and only two Pro models will use the technology.

Trend Force also claims in its report that the two iPhone 13 Pro models will have 1TB of internal storage. This is the opposite of what TF had previously predicted, with a capacity of 512 GB for Pro models. However, all iPhone 13 models will use Apple’s A15 chipset, which will be based on TSMC’s upgraded N5P technology.

Analysts predict that Apple will produce 223 million iPhones this year. This means that the new iPhones will make up about 39% of the total iPhones produced this year. If we combine this percentage with the share of iPhone 12 series that is currently being produced and the share of 5G models, we will reach 57%.

According to the latest TF report, the production of the iPhone 12 mini has been stopped due to its poor sales, and apparently Apple does not have much hope for the iPhone 13 mini either. So analysts predict that Apple will focus on marketing the other three larger models.
